Cacao Mama Medicine Circle · The Art of Cacao, ceremonial practice & earth-based rituals to regenerate and connect with the heart of nature.
May 31 - June 06, 2025 | 6 nights
Mountain Temple Guesthouse, Piedmont, Italy
With Serap Kara | In English
Nestled in a wild mountain valley, we will share six transformative days of regeneration, connection, and deepening in "The Art of Cacao," ceremonial practices, and earth-based rituals. Our sacred gathering will take place in one of the most pristine and enchanting locations, the Antrona Valley in Piedmont, Italy.
Come and be part of this sacred journey, where we weave the essence of cacao with the rhythms of the earth and the magic of ceremony.
The Cacao Altar
In 2024, the sacred mountain at Ambas Dham called me to bring the medicine of cacao. Together with a small, intimate group, we anchored a sacred cacao altar at its heart. In 2025, we will return to invoke the cacao goddess and honour this connection. Via the circle way, we will reflect on the global field of cacao: How are the farmers doing? What new developments are unfolding within the global cacao tribe? What wisdom do the keepers of the tradition wish to share? Together, we will cultivate a loving consciousness and altar within ourselves.
Earth-based Rituals
We will immerse ourselves in the medicinal flower and herbal garden, working with our hands to plant seeds, harvest herbs, and tend the nature altars upon the land. These sacred acts will align us with the soul of the place and the magic of the sacred mountain. Expect to experience a sensual earth-sauna ritual, visits to the serene Antrona Mountain Lake and nearby rivers, and sacred medicine songs sung around the fire. These practices will nourish your nervous system with vitality, presence, and regeneration.
The Cacao Spirit calls us to deepen our sacred connection with Mother Nature. Choose to renew your bond through ceremony, opening to the wisdom of the circle. You are guided to innerstand the spirit of nature and the essence of your own being. Commit to being in sacred service to Pachamama, receiving Cacao's ancestral wisdom, celestial light codes, and unifying consciousness. Through this connection, we are helping weave a rooted, regenerative earth culture. You are here to make a difference. –Serap Kara
Meet your host Serap Kara
My name is Serap, and I’m honoured to be your host on this journey. I am the founder and guardian of Cacao Mama, the Earth School, and co-founder of the Cacao Gardener Initiative. My medicine heart beats in rhythm with Pachamama and the spirit of the forest. I walk the path of an entrepreneur, medicine woman, moon dancer, teacher, and midwife to a new consciousness being anchored in this present moment.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of holding space for people from all walks of life and corners of the world through countless ceremonies, medicine circles, and transformative learning experiences. I am deeply passionate about creating finely attuned spaces that invite us to root into trust and embrace our natural state of connection to Spirit. Through these spaces, we remember the sacred way of ceremony and step into service for greater harmony.
The consciousness of cacao is awakening, offering us profound new layers of embodied heart wisdom. Join me in Ambas Dham!
Ambas Dham in the Antrona Valley
Amba is a mythical figure in ancient India who wandered restlessly through the worlds, and only found brief peace in a forgotten place (Dham) in the mountains of the Himalayas.
Ambas Dham is a family home, a living temple and family guesthouse located in a formerly abandoned 500 year old mountain village on the South side of the Alps. The residents transformed the ruins with idealism, visionary pioneering spirit and hard work, into cozy homes, and brought these back to life. For over 30 years, prayers and rituals have been held regularly to honour the guardians of the place.
Our guesthouse, is a simple yet magical place between the worlds, a hidden gem and place of power, surrounded by mountains peaks, rivers and crystal clear lakes; a place of refuge for timeless moments, offering a balm for the senses and the troubled mind. Here, one can search for new perspectives and find visions while nestling into the quietude of the mountain village. The guesthouse is located in the most isolated valley of the region Ossola of Piemont. Countless trails lead to the three passes to Switzerland via millennia-old passageways, formerly part of the Amber Road.
The Valley is called a "gateway to heaven”. Behind the outwardly attractive appearance lies something greater, even more beautiful: a hidden energy that must first be discovered. The person whose soul is ready to go inside can find a pulsating life force. In this sense, idealistic and spiritual values unite, and feed the soul of the wanderer whose heart is open. Energies of moon and earth unite and form a magnetic force field. This creates a feeling of security and protection for man - but to find the hidden treasure, the seeker must first meet the guardian of the threshold.
The height of the granite rock mountains reflect the cosmic wisdom of a great teacher who reigns here. His name is Shani. Behind the veils of matter he offers a bridge to the Otherworld, an understanding of shadow and light, the gate to the “eternal", and to a consciousness in harmony with the self, so that the sun in the heart can warm man on his journey across the earth.
